Fighting poverty through fair trade
Helping to preserve cultural heritage
Oz Fair Trade began with a simple wish: to help the people I met who lived in extreme poverty by providing a platform for their beautiful products.
All my products come from certified fair trade producers in Southeast Asia and South America, and they are painstakingly handcrafted by talented local artisans using traditional techniques. Every product I sell has a story behind it, and a struggling family behind it.
I hope that you will join me in the fight against poverty through fair trade. This has to be the simplest and most mutually beneficial way to empower the most disadvantaged people in the world!
Want more reason to support Oz Fair Trade? For every $100 sale, I make a $25 loan via Kiva to the world’s poorest who can’t access basic financial products. This is not part of fair trade principles, but it is my way of providing extra help to these people.
